Lifelong learning is promoted in Gifu City, and there are many independent groups and clubs engaged in it.
Many also perform volunteer work with civic volunteer groups active within the city.

Lifelong Learning Center
This center is used as a base of lifelong learning with many different kinds of courses being held here.
- Citizens can also pay to rent training rooms, music studios, etc.
- It also has exchange salons, display corners, a cubic gallery, etc.
- Citizens also use the center to share things they have learned.
- The center also provides information about teachers, clubs, and activity announcements (Mana Bank).
